The grinding production line centers on core equipment including five-axis CNC profile grinding machines, intelligent line-side warehouses, loading/unloading inspection stations, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), with the PCS serving as the intelligent control system. It is primarily dedicated to the finish machining of high-precision structural parts, precision molded components, high-accuracy transmission parts, and semiconductor-grade precision parts. As the process with the highest precision level among all process types, it receives blanks from turning and milling lines after rough and semi-finish machining, achieving micron-level dimensional accuracy and ultra-smooth surface quality. At the same time, it provides high-precision reference surfaces for EDM and electrical discharge shaping, ensuring reliable positioning for subsequent specialty machining.
The primary technical challenges of this line lie in machining compensation and dynamic pose adjustment, requiring real-time, precise compensation for material deformation, wheel wear, and clamping deviations, along with corresponding pose corrections. The company achieves high-precision, stable machining through self-developed algorithms and a fully closed-loop adaptive manufacturing system. Compared with other lines, grinding does not pursue large stock removal; instead, it focuses on final precision and surface quality formation. Together with turning and milling, it establishes a “rough forming — precision finishing” process loop. Milling Production Line

Intelligent Flexible Automated Milling Machining Cell

The milling production line features core configurations including machining centers, Hanfeng's 5th-generation precision cleaning equipment, and the PCS intelligent control system. It specializes in processing complex cavities, box-type structural parts, special-shaped components, and precision structural parts for hydraulic and new energy applications, offering robust capabilities for complex spatial contour forming and heavy stock removal.
The line undertakes the primary machining task from blank to structural forming. It can independently complete the full-process machining of medium-precision parts, while also supplying finished blanks for grinding and structural substrates for EDM. Leveraging the company's self-developed multi-process compatible automatic changeover system, the line addresses multi-variety, small-batch, and flexible production demands by enabling rapid automatic changeover of tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools with one-click model switching. This drastically reduces line adjustment time and enhances overall flexible production efficiency.
Among the four major production lines, milling offers the broadest structural adaptability and the strongest forming capability. Together with turning, it constitutes the foundational machining system. Distinguished from turning’s focus on rotary parts, grinding’s ultra-precision finishing, and EDM’s specialty micro-machining, the milling line epitomizes the enterprise’s intelligent manufacturing prowess for complex structural components.

EDM Production Line

Intelligent Flexible Automated EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Machining Cell

The EDM production line integrates key equipment such as electrode magazines, wire libraries, and laser measuring machines, relying on the PCS system to achieve fully automated operation throughout the process. It is primarily designed for machining micro-holes, narrow slots, complex cavities, high-hardness difficult-to-cut materials, and micro-structures that are challenging for conventional cutting methods.
The line covers two core processes—electrical discharge machining and electrical discharge shaping—supporting automatic electrode changes and adopting a non-contact, stress-free machining method. As a supplementary specialty line, it receives parts after primary machining by turning, milling, and grinding to realize high-precision micro-feature and complex cavity forming.
A core technical challenge of this line lies in high-precision pose adjustment, requiring accurate alignment and attitude compensation between electrodes and workpieces within confined spaces. By fusing visual positioning with motion control technology, the company effectively resolves positioning difficulties encountered in machining thin-walled parts, micro-structures, and high-hardness materials. Compared with the three contact-based cutting lines, EDM involves no cutting forces and avoids deformation interference, complementing them with a “conventional forming + specialty finishing” synergy. Turning Production Line

Intelligent Flexible Automated Turning Machining Cell

The turning production line centers on turning machining centers, centralized fluid supply, centralized chip removal, and PCS intelligent control, focusing on high-efficiency rough and semi-finish machining of rotating parts such as shafts, discs, and sleeves. It supplies qualified blanks for subsequent grinding and provides rotary base parts for electrical machining and EDM forming. Together with the milling line, it constitutes the plant’s basic machining capabilities, covering rotating parts and complex structural components respectively.
Key challenges and highlights of this line include high-efficiency automatic tool changing: addressing multi-process, multi-tool, and continuous machining requirements, it realizes intelligent tool magazine management, wear monitoring, and rapid tool changeover, ensuring stability and consistency during extended unmanned operation. Compared with grinding’s ultra-precision compensation, EDM’s precise pose adjustment, and milling’s flexible retooling, the turning line offers higher specialization and superior machining efficiency. Meanwhile, through its centralized fluid supply and chip removal systems, it provides utility support for other workshop lines, ensuring not only its own high-efficiency operation but also the stable functioning of the overall production system—reflecting the enterprise’s mature advantages in automation, scalability, and intensive manufacturing.
